10 October
Welcome to the final day of Older Adult Mental Health Awareness Week!
As we wrap up this inaugural event on the World Health Organization's World Mental Health Day, we thank you for visiting, viewing, participating, and sharing the many resources, video messages, and more throughout this week. Mental health issues affect people of all ages, and older adults must not be left behind- in research, in diagnosis, in treatment, and in care.
This year's theme is Mental Health is a Universal Human Right. Check out their website below to learn more about this important initiative!
We invite you to explore the resources IPA shares today to help spread the word about World Mental Health Day and learn even more about this global initiative spanning the last 75 years. First, we are happy to share a video of support from IPA President-Elect, Anne Margriet Pot.
